Manuela is the Design Department Manager. She is a registered Architect and registered Interior Designer. In her 10+ years of experience, Manuela has been involved in a wide variety of project types including hospitality, restaurant, retail, corporate office, healthcare, and education. Prior to her work in R|5 Design Agency, she was involved in publishing and editorial design, which broadened her design ability and knowledge, empowering her to create innovative content and compositions. Being proficient in a variety of creative visual medias allows her to express her unique ideas in an original yet practical manner.

ST. LOUIS, MO
Participated in the redesign and renovation of multiple floors, lobbies, and Top Golf swing suite addition. Also, renovated 200 guest rooms & bathrooms and public corridors.

Participated in the interior design of the office build-out of a 73,000 SF former Sears store at the Capital Mall in Jefferson City, MO, designed to accommodate company’s growing staff.
HIGHLAND VILLAGE
JEFFERSON CITY, MO
Participated in the complete interior redesign of an existing medical building to an office building. Redesign encompassed 3 floors and multiple tenant spaces.
KNOEBEL CORPORATE OFFICE
CHESTERFIELD, MO
Participated in creating the design for the interior of the new ground up office building. Assisted in the creation of several exhibits as needed for ARB as well as for client visualization through renderings, site modeling, and walkthroughs.

Lead the team in redesigning the existing office and newly leased spaces in the 2023 interior renovation of the building. Produced the construction documents for the project based on the existing conditions and new selections. Produced rendering and visualization for client/marketing purposes. Participated in the interior design of contemporary South American restaurant and bar experience on the 8th floor of the Four Seasons Hotel in downtown St. Louis.
PEACEMAKER LOBSTER & CRAB
TULSA, OK
Participated in the conceptual design of James Beard Award Winning Chef Kevin Nashan’s fresh seafood restaurant in the Blue Dome District of Tulsa. Expanded in 2022 to include Parklets at street level.
PIADA ITALIAN STREET FOOD
COLLEGE STATION, TX
Developed the construction document package for a new Piada location in a College Town.
LA TERTULIA
TULSA, OK
Participated in the design of the dining room, bar, and restrooms of Chef Kevin Nashan’s 2,100 SF restaurant. La Tertulia is an extension of a family restaurant featuring modern twists on authentic New Mexican cuisine.

Participated in the complete interior remodel of a 2,125 SF existing restaurant space to fit updated menu and theme. Also made updates to the al fresco dining area, with new tables and landscaping, the addition of heaters, and transparent dining chalets.
PENN STREET PLACE APARTMENTS
NORTH LIBERTY, IA
Participated in the design of 52 residential units in a 60,000 SF multi-family apartment building.
THE IVY
WESTMINSTER, CO
Lead the interior design of all amenity spaces in ground-up development of 2 apartment buildings totaling 10 stories and ~135 units. Produced construction drawings and renderings. Coordinated with outside architects and engineers.
OLIVETTE CROSSING
OLIVETTE, MO
In conjunction with Keat Properties and Keeley Development Group, participated in overall site development coordination of the new, mixed-use development in Olivette on the corner of Interstate 170 and Olive Boulevard. The development includes 100,000 SF of building area and 14 acres of site development. The development will feature corporate office space, a grocery store, retail, dining and entertainment options, and a 135-room, select service hotel. In addition to due diligence and site development coordination services, managing civil engineering, campus design and graphics.
JEFFERSON CITY COUNTRY CLUB

Participated in team design concept for the interior renovation of the main clubhouse building. Produced the construction documents for the project based on the existing conditions and new selections. Produced rendering and visualization for client/marketing purposes.
